Discover the top predators and enormous herbivores that used to stride across our island. Wolves, bison, mammoth and more.

Our speaker this month at our indoor meeting is Russell Hedley of Nature Talks and Walks. Growing up in Bolton, Russell was always very keen to use any free time to head out to his local patch to find whatever wildlife he could. During his career he has worked for several wildlife organisation and charities. These include the Lancashire Wildlife Trust, the Wetlands and Wildfowl Trust, Blackpool Zoo as Education Officer and Wetheriggs Animal Centre in Penrith as Head of Education.

The venue is Cutgate Baptist Church as usual. Members £3, Non-Members £4. Tea, coffee, and cake available – please make a donation towards cost. For those of you who have not been before there is parking on the Cutgate shopping precinct and the Norden bus stops near the church.
