Come along on Thursday 13th November for a deep-dive into the wonders of the world under the seas, and to learn a little about the skills and thrills of SCUBA diving with a camera.
Jill’s talk will cover some of the different species we can see in UK waters and how these vary according to depth and habitat. She will also talk about the challenges of underwater photography and she will show us some of the kit they use.
Jill Dean has been SCUBA diving in UK waters for over 30yrs. She’s a qualified SCUBA diver and instructor. She is a member of Darwen Sub Aqua Club.
We thoroughly enjoyed her last talk by Zoom on Life in a Scottish sea loch, and we’re looking forward to another fascinating insight into ‘What lies beneath’
RFNS talks take place on the first Thursday during the winter months at the Cutgate Baptist church, next to the Cutgate shopping precinct on Edenfield Road, Rochdale OL11 5AQ.
Doors open around 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
