On Thursday 7th April, we’re delighted to welcome Nick Martin, a local naturalist well known to some RFNS members, who will be telling us all about his wildlife-friendly garden in France.
Nick decided to buy a house there in 2003 and was delighted by the wildlife in the garden which included glow worms, praying mantids and swallowtail butterflies.
To date he’s recorded 47 species of butterflies and 170 species of Moths. In addition he’s seen 8 mammal species including yellow-necked mice and lesser white-toothed shrews.
