Native trees are brilliant and we need lots more of them, so where better to start 2022 than by brushing up our tree ID skills. Even without their leaves, trees have distinctive shapes, buds, bark, fruit or even fungi which should allow us to recognise them.
We’re meeting at 10.30am on Thursday 20th January at the car park of Milnrow Memorial Park, Newhey Road, Milnrow OL16 4JF for a half-day conservation and education session.
All members welcome. Please wear warm clothing and bring a hot drink and waterproofs.
