A talk by Heather Devey, Cumbria Beaver Group Project Officer
After an absence of around 400 years, Eurasian beavers have now returned to Cumbria in an enclosed, trial release on the Lowther Estate. Join Project Officer Heather on Thursday 8th April at 7pm on Zoom for an illustrated talk on the impacts the pair have made to the site, as well as a fascinating overview of beaver ecology, the role of beavers as ecosystem engineers, and wider plans for beavers across the country.
The talk will be followed by a Q&A session with Heather.
